AIOLOS platform is expected to have a strong positive impact not only for public health but also across various sectors of the economy. Given the large impact of an epidemic on all aspects of society as reflected in the COVID-19 crisis, we believe there is a high potential for widespread use of AIOLOS dashboarding tools across countries and industries.

Healthcare authorities and governments have an obvious interest in such a solution, but different industries also have a significant interest in anticipating and handling possible future pandemics in a clearer way, for their supplies, forecast, R&D investments and even staff management and/or potential closure.

Sustainability beyond the two years of the project is certainly something we are aiming at. The future business model of the AIOLOS platform, and how it could interface/cooperate with other systems, is a key topic we are working on as part of the project.
